It's Thanksgiving day in the US--and that means a great weekend of food, family and football. On that note, I have to give a big cheer for my Dallas Cowboys who seem to be heading in the right direction now. Come on Cowboys!
Here at Cameron Tilbury Publicity, we're thankful for so many things: our incredibly talented artists--you guys are all great to work with, radio around the world--we thank you so much for programming our artists and all the spins you give us, and finally, the fans--it all starts with you guys. Thank you all.
How are things looking this week? Well, first of all, let's look at what's current:
Jessica Ridley is still adding stations around the world with Flaming Red. Request it on your local radio station today. In addition to the UK and Ireland, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Australia and New Zealand, the song is picking up steam in the US--and Nashville 11 on XM Satellite is playing it in a heavy rotation. If you're not playing the song yet, let me know and we'll make sure you get it. It's hot!
Marlee Scott is adding stations too! Here To Heaven has a great video, which CMT in Canada is playing--and watch for it soon on CMC in Australia! Again, Marlee is all over radio in the UK, Ireland, all over Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Plus, we got some exciting news from Hot Country Radio in Queensland: Marlee has charted! She's in her second week in their top 50!
NEW MUSIC
Literally, hot off the presses and delivering to radio worldwide this week: Jessica Ridley's Spirit Of Christmas. New, original and sure to be a seasonal hit! Request it today! Radio, if you haven't received it yet, let me know and I'll make sure it's delivered to your inbox!
Hallelujah by Tonya Kennedy is being requested from stations around the world. It's a beautiful version of a great song--another Christmas programming favorite.
Finally, Simply Christmas, the new smooth jazz Christmas album by Vickie Van Dyke and Friends is at radio around the world. We had a great email from KAHM in Prescott, Arizona who are playing the track Main Street Christmas, and they said that the song reminded them of just what it was like on the main street in Prescott at Christmas. Let me know if you need the album at your radio station and I'll get it to you. Great response worldwide for this. I'm also proud to say that four of the songs on the album were published by camtrac music ltd, our in-house publishing company. It's our first effort.
Have a great weekend!
